The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of serums, oils, tinctures and concentrated blends. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the integrated dropper with a practical pipette, it is ideal for filling liquid formulations where control over the amount applied is important.
This packaging is designed to remain stable in contact with common cosmetic and aromatherapeutic formulations. The darker glass naturally helps protect sensitive components from light and supports longer stability of the contents, which makes the flacon suitable for products with a higher proportion of active ingredients and vegetable oils.
This glass bottle is supplied together with a dropper, but within the category of glass bottles on Handymade you will also find other dosing solutions. The bottles themselves are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the specific product.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle with dropper is suitable for most oil-based and water-based formulations, such as facial serums, oils, tinctures or drop solutions. Before final use, we always recommend testing the stability of your specific recipe in a smaller quantity in order to verify the behaviour of the active ingredients, the viscosity during dosing and the long-term compatibility with the packaging used.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the shelf life of your formulations. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely before filling them again.
First rinse the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. For oil-based formulations, a brief rinse with alcohol can also help. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow all components (glass, pipette, rubber part and cap) to dry freely at room temperature on a clean surface. Do not use a hot oven or aggressive mechanical cleaning so as not to impair the sealing of the dropper.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle can usually be placed in a glass container after emptying and basic rinsing. The dropper consists of several parts (plastic, rubber and possibly metal components), which are generally disposed of in plastic waste collection or mixed waste according to local regulations. Before disposal, remove product residues in order to minimise the load on sorting facilities and the environment.
When selecting a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. This filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific category (for example glass bottles, jars or plastic containers). You can adjust the products according to several parameters – especially the neck type, size, colour and material. By combining filters you will quickly find the packaging that best suits your formulation, the dosing method and the final product design.
