The green glass bottle with a black spray pump is a professional packaging solution designed for convenient, gentle and even dispensing of liquid preparations in the form of a spray. It is particularly suitable wherever precise application to the skin, hair or into the air is important and where you will also appreciate a durable, reusable container with a practical closure. The green glass helps to better protect more sensitive contents from external influences, while the high-quality spray pump ensures reliable functionality during everyday use.
This glass bottle with a spray pump is conceived as a ready-made functional combination of container and dispensing component. The combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing method and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of alcohol, oil components or active substances).

The glass container is generally a very stable type of packaging and is commonly used for preparations based on hydrosols, alcohol and those containing a proportion of oil components. When using the spray pump, however, it is always important to test the specific formula – some thicker or highly oily blends may change the character of the spray (from a fine mist to a fuller stream). Before final filling, we recommend a trial filling and several days of monitoring of functionality and sealing.
The bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product. For surface disinfection and final treatment before filling, products such as IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable, available in the raw materials category, are suitable, for example: IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol and etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný. We recommend applying the disinfectant also to the spray pump and allowing all parts to dry completely before refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed, after thorough emptying and cleaning, in a container intended for glass. The plastic parts of the spray pump (head, tube, possible seals) belong in sorted waste according to the type of plastic or in municipal waste if the local recycling system does not allow sorting. Before placing in the appropriate container, always remove any remaining product and follow local waste sorting rules.
The compact glass container with spray pump is also suitable for smaller quantities of preparations for travelling or everyday carrying. When transporting, we recommend protecting the glass from impacts (for example by placing the bottle in a case or textile pouch) and checking that the spray pump is screwed on tightly. For air travel, follow the current rules for carrying liquids in hand luggage – for practical reasons, it is advisable to place the bottle in a resealable bag as a precaution.
