The glass bottle with a built-in roll-on mechanism represents a practical packaging solution for precise, hygienic and comfortable application of liquid products directly to the skin. Thanks to the glass used, the contents remain stable, protected from external influences and are also suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of active ingredients or aromatic components. Its compact design makes it an ideal packaging for travel-size, sample and final products that require a controlled dose without unnecessary waste.
This bottle is supplied with a built-in roll-on applicator, which forms a functional unit for convenient dosing and application of the contents directly to the skin. When selecting other compatible components and attachments (for example replacement roll-on inserts or decorative top caps), we recommend always checking the parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass bottle is also suitable for formulations containing essential oils, provided they are properly diluted according to recommendations for cosmetic use. Before final filling, we recommend trying a small test quantity to verify the behaviour of the specific blend in contact with the packaging and the roll-on mechanism (smooth dosing, no clogging, sealing).
Yes, the packaging can be reused provided hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle, roll-on insert and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation.
First carefully remove the roll-on mechanism from the neck of the bottle. Wash the individual parts in warm water with a mild cleansing agent suitable for contact with cosmetics and then rinse them thoroughly with clean water. After drying, disinfect the components with an alcohol-based preparation and allow them to air out well. Before reattaching, we recommend checking the free rotation of the ball and the sealing when fitted to the bottle, so that application remains smooth and without unwanted leakage.
The roll-on bottle is ideal for products that are applied locally and in small amounts. You can use it for aromatherapeutic blends for pulse points, intensive serums for specific facial areas, oil treatments for nails, roll-on perfumes or practical travel versions of favourite products. Thanks to precise dosing, it is also suitable for more concentrated formulas where it is important that the user does not apply more product than necessary.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it according to the material composition indicated in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass part of the bottle in the separate glass collection. Plastic and any metal components of the roll-on mechanism and closure should be sorted separately according to local waste collection rules. Before placing into the container, it is practical to remove product residues to facilitate further processing of the packaging in the recycling process.
