Flat medical glass bottle represents professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquids in laboratory, cosmetic and artisan production. High-quality clear glass enables optical control of the contents, is chemically stable and ideal for formulations where purity, safe handling and reliable closure using an aluminium cap are important. Thanks to its flat shape, the small bottle is practical for storage, transport and for labelling products with stickers.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, provided they match the relevant neck type. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that the final product is reliable under real usage conditions.

Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, however, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. Packaging prepared in this way reduces the risk of microbial contamination and is ready for reuse.
Before first use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with water, then washing it with a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave residues, and rinsing thoroughly. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the glass with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. Only after complete evaporation of the alcohol and drying of the inner surface of the bottle is the packaging ready to be filled.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local regulations. The first step is to empty the contents as much as possible and rinse the bottle. The glass itself is usually placed in a container intended for glass waste, while the cap made of metal or another material is sorted separately according to the material marking in the product parameters. Therefore, follow the information from the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website and the local waste sorting system in your municipality.
