FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for thicker emulsions or oils?

The bottle with spray pump is primarily intended for liquid and low-viscosity preparations that allow smooth spraying. Thick emulsions, gels or heavy oils can reduce the functionality of the spray pump or gradually clog it. For atypical formulations we recommend carrying out a trial filling and dosing test on a smaller amount of product.

Can I use this plastic bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump, and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated off is the packaging ready for further safe use.

How should I correctly clean and maintain the bottle with spray pump so that its functionality is not reduced?

For routine cleaning we recommend lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, and it is important to rinse thoroughly not only the bottle but also the spray pump itself. Afterwards it is advisable to rinse the packaging with clean water and, before the next use, disinfect it with a suitable alcohol. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry thoroughly. Avoid using aggressive solvents that could negatively affect the plastic material or the seals in the spray pump.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it and removing any product residue before disposal.
