Plastic bottle – dropper bottle with cap and dropper insert is a practical container intended for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control over the amount during application is important. Thanks to the integrated dropper, it is suitable for packaging products that are used in small volumes – whether cosmetics, technical solutions or specialized blends. The reclosable dropper bottle helps protect the contents against contamination and unwanted leakage, while supporting convenient and hygienic use during everyday handling.
The plastic dropper bottle with dropper insert and cap is supplied as a functional unit that already includes an element for drop-by-drop dosing. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). When working with new recipes, it is advisable to first test a smaller trial quantity to verify that the consistency and composition do not affect the functionality of the dropper or the tightness of the closure. Based on the material given in the product parameters, it is also necessary to follow the recommendations for sorting and recycling within the local waste collection system.
Yes, the packaging can be reused for a suitable type of contents, provided that you observe basic hygiene principles and carefully check the packaging before each new filling. Before further use, the bottle, cap and dropper insert must be cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For plastic packaging made from PET material, avoid high temperatures; do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, in order to prevent deformation of the bottle and impairment of its functionality.
First rinse the packaging mechanically with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent (in accordance with what the particular type of plastic tolerates and what does not leave undesirable residues on the walls). Then the bottle and the closure with dropper insert must be thoroughly rinsed with clean water, left to drain and dried. The last step is disinfection of the inner and outer surfaces – for this purpose, products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based are suitable; after application they should be allowed to evaporate completely. For PET packaging, avoid long-lasting contact with very hot water and never boil it, in order to prevent undesirable deformation of the material.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before placing the bottle into sorted waste, empty it, remove any remaining contents and, if possible, at least roughly rinse it. Then place the plastic packaging in the appropriate container according to the local waste-sorting system (usually the yellow container for plastics, unless local rules state otherwise). The cap and dropper insert can be recycled together with the bottle, or you can separate them if the local system prefers separation of different components. For PET packaging it is crucial to avoid exposure to high temperatures – do not place the bottle near heat sources, do not leave it in an overheated car and do not clean it in a dishwasher or by boiling. High temperatures can cause deformation of the walls, cap or dropper insert, which negatively affects sealing and dosing. At the same time we recommend carefully selecting the type of product that you fill into the packaging – for strongly solvent-based or aggressive components it is advisable to check compatibility on a small test sample. During use, regularly check the functionality of the dropper, the cleanliness of the neck and the tightness of the closure, in order to maintain safety and comfort during application.
