The flat plastic bottle with screw cap is a practical and lightweight container designed mainly for liquid and gel products where easy handling, safe transport and clean dispensing are important. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and reliable closure, it is suitable for professional as well as home use when producing cosmetics, hygiene preparations or other blends intended for external use. The transparent design of the container allows quick visual control of the contents, which makes dosing, labelling and storage on shelves or in cosmetic sets easier.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and the material is not visibly damaged. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product – for example technical isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or plant-based ethanol 96 % (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Only after the inner surface has completely dried may the bottle be filled again. By following this procedure, you help to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the stability of your products.
For cleaning, we recommend using lukewarm water with a mild, well-soluble cleaning agent and a soft brush or sponge to avoid scratching the surface. After washing, rinse the bottle several times thoroughly with clean water and let it dry completely with the opening facing downwards. It is then advisable to disinfect the inside of the container with an alcohol-based product (e.g. /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank" or /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank") and allow it to dry again. Do not expose the bottle to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher to prevent deformation.
This type of plastic container is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling in water. High temperatures and prolonged exposure to hot water can lead to deformation of the bottle, loss of dimensional stability and deterioration of the cap’s sealing performance. Cleaning at lower temperatures, hand washing and subsequent disinfection with an alcohol-based product are recommended. Such a gentle procedure helps to extend the service life of the container and maintain its reliable functionality.
If you decide not to use the container any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for sorting, always empty any remaining contents and at least roughly rinse the bottle. Then place it in the appropriate container for the given type of plastic in accordance with the locally applicable waste sorting rules. The cap should be recycled together with the container only if it is made of the same material or a material accepted by the recycling system; otherwise, we recommend separating it and sorting it separately, if the municipal system allows.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars or medicine bottles). In the advanced filter, you can clearly choose the neck type, size, colour and material, which will quickly narrow down the offer to suitable solutions for your product. We also recommend using the detailed parameter view for individual products and, as needed, comparing several options – whether by design, compatibility with closures or intended use.
The bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and less viscous products such as toners, micellar waters, hair tonics, light emulsions, gels and solutions intended for external use. Before final implementation, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and a short-term storage test, during which you verify the compatibility of the container material with the specific composition (content of surfactants, alcohol, essential oils or other active substances). In this way you can confirm that the container maintains its dimensional stability, does not change its appearance and does not undesirably affect the fragrance or colour of the product.
