High-quality glass is chemically stable, does not react with most cosmetic and technical components and helps to preserve the properties of the contents over the long term. Thanks to the precise finish of the neck, the bottle is suitable for accurate dosing using droppers, spray heads, pumps or classic screw caps. The transparent bottle is also practical for test batches where you need a quick overview of the colour, clarity and any changes in the product.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) depending on the selected parameters. Yes, the glass container can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and ensures the long-term stability of the new product.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the interior and the neck of the container with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In professional cosmetic production, always follow internal hygiene standards and legislative requirements.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the product parameters. After emptying and roughly cleaning the glass bottle, place it in the container intended for glass. Plastic or metal closures, or dispensers, should be sorted separately according to their material, if this is possible under your conditions. When recycling, always respect local waste separation rules and the recommendations stated for the specific product on Handymade.sk.

After selecting a specific closure, we always recommend performing a trial filling, checking tightness during storage and transport, and testing user comfort for the end customer.
