The glass bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous formulations where precise application using a dropper is important. The dark, opaque glass helps to reduce light penetration to the contents, which is particularly beneficial for products that are sensitive to environmental influences. Combined with a suitable type of closure or dispensing system, it is a flexible dropper vial and cosmetic bottle that enhances the professional appearance of the finished product and ensures convenient dosing for the end user.
This type of glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure that the final product is reliable and user-friendly.

Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle thoroughly, checking the internal space and then disinfecting it with a suitable packaging disinfectant. For disinfection you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our range as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol 1 l and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based 1 l. After treatment, leave the packaging to dry at room temperature in a clean environment and only then fill it with the final formulation.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. After the contents have been used up, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle, rinsing it thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based 1 l. Only after this process is the packaging ready for refilling. Also make sure that the dropper and other components are not mechanically damaged and that they seal properly.
When selecting a closure or dispensing element, it is important to follow the technical parameters given in the product details so that the bottle neck and the selected component are mutually compatible. In the packaging category, you can use filters according to neck type and dosing method or choose pre-prepared combinations such as bottle + dropper or bottle + spray, which are practically tested on Handymade. Even with compatible combinations, however, we recommend a trial filling, checking the sealing and the smoothness of dosing with the specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it after emptying and basic cleaning, in accordance with the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass container can usually be disposed of in the appropriate glass recycling bin, while plastic or rubber parts of the closures should, where possible, be separated and sorted separately according to material type. By following these guidelines, you support effective waste sorting and reduce the environmental burden associated with cosmetic packaging.
