The glass bottle with spray pump is a practical and professional packaging for liquid products, popular in the production of natural and artisan cosmetics. Thanks to its high-quality design, it is suitable for gentle and even spraying of watery and partially viscous formulations, which makes it an ideal container for toners, serums, facial and body mists, or room sprays.
The glossy opaque glass helps protect sensitive formula components from the effects of light, thereby contributing to the stability of active ingredients and extending the shelf life of the contents. The combination of a glass bottle and a functional spray mechanism is suitable for precise dispensing without unnecessary product waste and without the contents coming into contact with the external environment during application.
Glass bottles with a spray finish are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. They can be combined with related components such as screw caps, droppers, atomizers or practical applicators, depending on the specific product and the variants available in the range.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dispensing reliability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially when using a high proportion of alcohol or essential oils.

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using IPA or ethanol products. For disinfection, you can use the packaging for IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging and components are completely dry is the bottle ready for further use.
The glass spray bottle is most suitable for watery and lightly viscous formulations that need to be applied as a fine mist. These include in particular face and body toners, hydrolats, hair tonics, air fresheners, fabric sprays and disinfectant solutions. For thicker emulsions or oils, we recommend choosing another type of dispenser, such as pumps or droppers, to ensure smooth and reliable dispensing.
Before reuse, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleansing agent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. Afterwards it is advisable to disinfect the packaging and the corresponding sprayer with an alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. It is a good idea to flush the sprayer with a small amount of disinfectant solution by pressing the mechanism several times so that it passes through the entire system. Only after it is completely dry is the packaging ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it correctly according to the material composition specified in the product specifications. After thorough emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle should be placed in a container intended for glass. The plastic and metal parts of the sprayer (if present) must be separated and sorted according to local waste sorting rules, or placed in mixed waste if they cannot be clearly classified. By recycling the packaging, you help reduce the amount of waste and support a more environmentally friendly approach.
