The glass vial with black aluminium lid is a practical and professional-looking container for the safe packaging of both liquid and more sensitive formulations in smaller doses. Thanks to the dark glass, it naturally reduces light transmission and helps to protect the contents from UV rays, which will be especially appreciated for oils, extracts and products with active ingredients. The glass is material-neutral and, when used correctly, helps preserve the original properties of the contents; it is also food-grade packaging, suitable for selected products intended for internal use.
Combinations of packaging and closures, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, this is a food grade packaging, so it is also suitable for liquid nutritional supplements, tinctures and extracts for internal use. For each formulation, we recommend a custom seal and stability test to verify the behaviour of the packaging and closure in practice.
Dark glass naturally reduces light transmission and helps limit UV exposure, which is beneficial for oils, extracts and products with active ingredients. For stability of contents, it is advisable to store the product out of direct sunlight.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, the packaging should be cleaned and then disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002) - for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or Ethanol 96%. Allow the packaging to dry completely before filling.
We recommend to do a self-test: fill the container, close it and let it stand in different positions. Then check the seal, any leakage, comfort of handling and the behaviour of the product in normal use. For aromatic or more volatile ingredients, the test is particularly important.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Rinse the glass vial and dispose of it in a glass container once the contents have been consumed. Separate the aluminium cap and sort it into the metal collection; if plastic parts are part of the cap and can be separated, sort them separately into the plastic collection. Separating the materials will make recycling easier and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
