Before filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and dropper in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. First rinse the packaging mechanically and remove visible impurities, then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant ethanol. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry naturally on a clean, uncontaminated surface and only then fill the bottle with the final formulation.

The glass packaging can, with proper handling and maintenance, be safely used repeatedly. It is always necessary, however, to observe basic hygiene principles – after the contents have been used up, thoroughly rinse and clean the bottle and dropper and, before refilling, disinfect them again with a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol. Repeated use is recommended only for compatible types of formulations, and in case of visible damage to the packaging or dropper it is advisable to discard the packaging and replace it with a new one.

The dropper bottle is ideal for all products where precise and controlled application in a small amount is important. Most commonly these are facial serums, oil concentrates, active blends with a higher concentration of active substances, intensive treatments for the skin, hair serums or aromatherapeutic blends and perfume oils. Thanks to the dropper, the product is applied comfortably directly onto the skin or into the palm without unnecessary material loss.

To maintain the stability of the contents, it is important to combine a suitable type of formulation with quality packaging and proper storage. It is recommended to fill only completely clean and disinfected bottles, not to pour the finished product between several containers, and after each use to close the bottle carefully in order to minimise contact with air. Store the contents at a stable temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. More sensitive preparations should be checked regularly by visual inspection (colour, odour, consistency) and, in the event of any changes, the product should no longer be used.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend its environmentally considerate disposal by means of separate collection according to the material listed in the product parameters. The glass bottle, once emptied and given a basic rinse, is normally placed in the container intended for glass. The dropper consists of several parts (e.g. plastic, rubber, possibly glass) and it is advisable, where possible, to separate and sort them according to local waste management rules. Always follow the instructions of your recycling centre or local authority and ensure that no larger amount of residual product remains in the packaging.
