The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging material suitable for precise dosing of liquid mixtures, serums and concentrates. High-quality dark glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light exposure and external influences, which is why it is popular for filling products containing active ingredients, plant extracts or aromatic oils. The combination of a glass medicine bottle and a dropper allows controlled dosing of drops, which is practical for cosmetic as well as craft formulations.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that the final product is safe, stable and comfortable to use.

Before first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them. In practice, mechanical washing with a suitable cleaning agent, thorough rinsing and subsequent disinfection with alcohol has proven effective, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96% denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature, and only then fill the packaging with your product.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Between individual fillings, it is necessary to carefully clean the bottle, the dropper and the rubber part, check them for damage and always disinfect them before refilling, ideally using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96% denaturovaný rastlinný. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and prolong the lifetime of your cosmetic or craft products.
The dropper is ideal for liquid, low- to medium-viscosity formulations where precise drop-by-drop dosing is important. Most often these are facial and hair oils, serums, concentrated active substances, aromatherapeutic blends or tinctures intended for external use. With significantly thicker mixtures, dosing with the dropper may be limited, therefore we recommend performing a trial filling before the final filling and verifying the comfort of dosing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. After removing any residual contents, dispose of the glass part of the bottle in the container intended for glass. The dropper is usually composed of several materials (plastic, rubber, glass), so it is appropriate, wherever possible, to separate them and sort them individually according to the local rules for waste collection. Adapt specific recommendations to the recycling instructions of your collection yard or municipal services.
