FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for thicker oils and serums?

The bottle with dropper is suitable for most liquid and slightly viscous oil serums and blends. For very thick formulations, we recommend first testing the flow of the dropper and, if necessary, adjusting the formula (for example by reducing the viscosity or adding a suitable diluting oil) so that the dosing is smooth and comfortable.

Can I reuse this bottle for different products?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dropper closure and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation.

How should I properly clean the glass bottle before re-use?

Before re-use we recommend first mechanically removing residues of the original product, then washing the bottle in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly. After complete drying, the packaging must be disinfected with an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA or ethanol), allowed to evaporate and only then filled with a new product. For the dropper, also pay attention to the rubber and plastic parts and verify that no mechanical wear has occurred.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the closure and dropper (plastic, rubber or composite materials) should be separated and sorted according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging free of product residues to facilitate its further processing.

Can I use this bottle for travelling or in my handbag?

Thanks to its smaller volume and screw dropper closure, the bottle is also suitable for carrying in a cosmetic bag or handbag. However, we recommend always checking that the closure is tightened correctly and storing it in an upright position during transport, possibly in a separate pouch, to prevent other items from getting soiled in case of potential product leakage.
