Glass bottle with screw neck and child-resistant cap represents a reliable container for liquid and slightly viscous formulations. High-quality glass combined with a practical closure with safety feature helps protect the contents from contamination, unintended opening and external influences during storage and transport. A suitably chosen container supports the stability of cosmetic and technical solutions and facilitates their safe dispensing in both home and professional production.
Glass bottles are compatible with different types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing performance and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be confident of trouble-free use under your specific conditions.

Yes, the glass container can be reused if handled properly. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Adhering to hygiene principles helps minimize the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your formulations.
Before reuse we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle to remove residues of the original product, then washing it in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect both the inner and outer surfaces of the container with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and you have confirmed that it is clean is the packaging ready for a new filling.
We recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry, clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. The safety cap should always be tightened carefully to minimize the risk of leakage or contamination of the contents. For sensitive formulations, follow the raw material manufacturers’ recommendations for optimal storage (for example lower temperature or protection from light) and adjust the conditions in which the container is stored accordingly.
If you decide not to use the container any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. After cleaning, the glass vessel is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or composite cap is sorted according to the type of material indicated in the packaging description. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to remove any product residues so that recycling is as efficient as possible.
