However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % izopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and ensures safer use when in contact with mucous membranes.

How should the bottle and nasal spray be properly cleaned before refilling?

First disassemble the bottle and the spray mechanism into individual parts, rinse them with warm water and a suitable detergent and rinse thoroughly so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. We then recommend disinfecting all parts with a suitable disinfectant alcohol (for example products available on Handymade), allowing it to act according to the recommendations and then letting them air dry. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for a new filling, which minimizes the risk of compromising the stability and hygiene of the new product.

How should the bottle and the spray mechanism be disposed of or recycled if I no longer want to use them?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, responsible recycling according to the material type indicated in the product parameters is recommended. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and basic cleaning, into the appropriate glass container, while the plastic components of the spray mechanism need to be sorted according to the type of plastic or handed over to a collection yard. Before discarding, it is advisable to remove any product residues from the packaging so that it does not affect the recycling process and does not burden the environment.
