The green glass bottle with a white-silver sprayer is a professional packaging solution designed for convenient and hygienic dispensing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. It is particularly suitable for cosmetic and aromatherapeutic formulations where precise application to the skin, hair or into the air is important. The green glass helps protect more sensitive components from the effects of light and contributes to longer product stability, while the high-quality mechanical sprayer ensures even atomization of the contents.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, in order to ensure long-term stability as well as user comfort.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the filter is located at the top of the page and allows sorting according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the range to packaging that matches the character of your product and the intended dosing method.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning both the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or with 96 % denatured plant-derived ethanol. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the quality of the new refill. When reusing, also monitor the condition of the sprayer – if the spraying pattern changes or wear occurs, it is advisable to replace it with a new one.
The bottle with a mechanical sprayer is ideal for low-viscosity liquids – toners, hydrolats, light serums in the form of milky mists, aromatherapeutic sprays, air fresheners or mild cleaning solutions. With thicker emulsions or oils, the function of the mechanism may be limited, therefore it is advisable to always test the formulation in a small amount and verify that dosing proceeds smoothly and evenly.
First rinse the bottle with a suitable solvent (for example with water or alcohol, depending on the type of the previous filling), then wash it with a mild cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly with clean water. After drying, the inner space must be disinfected – we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. Rinse the sprayer repeatedly with lukewarm water and finally pump a small amount of alcohol through it to clean the internal capillary. Before refilling, let all parts dry thoroughly.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend first completely emptying it and removing any remaining contents. The glass body belongs in the container designated for glass according to local recycling rules. The plastic sprayer must be separated and classified according to the material type specified in the product parameters – most often it belongs either in sorted plastic waste or in mixed waste if the material combination does not allow recycling. Always follow the recommendations in the product parameter table and local waste management guidelines.
Yes, this type of packaging is very practical for development and test batches where you need smaller amounts of product with functional spraying. It makes it possible to test the behaviour of the formulation during storage, compatibility with the sprayer mechanism and user comfort during application. Before starting larger-scale production, we recommend several trial fillings in the same packaging so that you have verified the stability and long-term functionality of the packaging–formula combination.
