Glass bottle – transparent dispensing container for oils is a universal packaging suitable for precise and controlled dispensing of various liquid products. Transparent glass allows immediate visual inspection of the contents, which is practical for cosmetics manufacture as well as for working with concentrated blends. Thanks to the stable material and compatibility with various types of closures and dispensing systems, it represents a reliable choice for smaller batches, samples, and finished products ready for sale.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or transfer of residues from the previous product. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured – plant-based, and allowing the packaging to dry completely before refilling.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for contact with packaging, then rinsing thoroughly with potable water, or demineralised water if appropriate. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the container with alcohol (for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %) and allow it to air-dry in a clean environment. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for filling.
The glass bottle is suitable for a wide range of oil-based and liquid formulations, including slightly viscous oils and blends. The key point is to choose the right type of closure or dispenser – for more viscous products, droppers with a larger orifice diameter or suitable applicators that allow smooth dispensing are most commonly used. Before putting it into practice, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in combination with the selected closure, in order to verify the smoothness of dosing.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it responsibly. Glass packaging is usually placed in containers designated for glass, according to the local waste separation system. Before discarding, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents and separate any plastic or metal components of the closure, which belong in the appropriate collection containers. We always recommend adapting the specific separation method to the local waste management rules and following the information indicated in the material labelling in the product parameters.
When choosing suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material. In this way, you can easily find the bottle or jar that will best suit your product and the filling technology.
Filled bottles should be stored in a dry, clean place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Especially for oils and sensitive ingredients, we recommend a stable, rather lower temperature and limiting exposure to air – the closure should always be tightly screwed on. This will extend the product’s shelf life and reduce the risk of oxidation or alteration of the sensory properties of the formulation.
