The glass bottle with white sprayer is a practical and aesthetic packaging solution, ideal for precise dosing of aqueous and low-viscosity cosmetic preparations. The combination of a transparent glass container and a fine sprayer enables comfortable application of products in the form of a mist or fine spray, which reduces consumption and increases user comfort.
This type of bottle is suitable for packaging products where even distribution on the skin or hair and visual control of the contents are important. Thanks to its chemical resistance, glass is suitable for various formulations, while the white sprayer ensures reliable dosing and convenient handling in everyday use.
This glass bottle with sprayer belongs to the category of packaging intended for spray dosing and is supplied as a functional unit. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially when using higher concentrations of alcohol, essential oils or active substances.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable product, for example technical alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % izopropyl alkohol and etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný, which you can find on Handymade: IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After thorough rinsing and drying, the packaging is ready for refilling.
You can rinse the glass container with warm water and a suitable detergent, then rinse thoroughly with drinking water and allow it to dry. Before refilling, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging, for example by rinsing it with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and then drying it. We recommend pumping clean water, or a small amount of disinfectant alcohol, through the sprayer so that the inner capillary and nozzle are flushed. It is important to remove all residues of the previous product so as not to affect the stability or fragrance of the new formulation.
The sprayer is most suitable for watery and low-viscosity products that need to be applied as a fine mist. Typically these are face and body sprays, hydrolats, toners, body and hair refreshers, light cleansing and hygiene sprays, or aromatherapeutic blends with an appropriate content of alcohol and essential oils. For thicker emulsions or oil blends, it is necessary to verify the suitability of spraying by a test in order to ensure smooth functioning of the mechanism.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. After it has been emptied and roughly cleaned of product residues, the glass part can be placed in a glass recycling container or taken to a collection point within the separate waste collection system. The plastic sprayer (head, tube and any seals) usually belongs in plastic collection, unless local sorting rules stipulate otherwise. Always follow the pictograms and recommendations given for the specific product and the local waste management rules.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, medicine bottles, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter you can set the parameters according to your needs – in particular the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that is most suitable for your specific product and dosing method.
Glass is generally a very stable material even for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils, but we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test. This consists of filling a smaller amount of product, monitoring any changes in colour, odour or sediment, and testing the functionality of the sprayer (smooth operation, fineness of the mist, sealing). For higher concentrations of alcohol and essential oils it is advisable to periodically check the plastic parts of the sprayer as well, to ensure reliable dosing throughout the entire period of use.
