Yes, the glass jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging needs to be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection of packaging we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the jar ready for a new safe filling.
The jar with dispenser is ideal for creams, emulsions and thicker serums where precise dosing without direct contact of fingers with the contents is important. It is suitable for facial creams, body milks, caring hand creams or special treatment preparations. Before final use, we always recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging, especially for products with a high content of active ingredients or essential oils.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the jar mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and removing all residues of the original product. Then allow the packaging to be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and dried. Before a new filling, the jar and the dispensing part need to be disinfected with an alcohol-based product, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated and it is completely dry, the packaging is ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material marking stated in the product parameters. After emptying and a basic rinse, place the glass part in the container intended for glass. The dispenser and any plastic components should be sorted according to the type of plastic (the information can be found in the parameter table at the product). Always follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality.

However, for formulations with a high content of active ingredients, acids or essential oils, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying tightness, smoothness of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging material in long-term contact with the specific product.
