The dark, opaque glass helps protect the sensitive contents from undesirable effects of light and supports the stability of active ingredients during storage and everyday use.
The glass bottle with dropper is designed specifically for precise dosing of liquids, oils and serums. The viscosity of the product can affect the dripping speed, therefore we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the dosing under normal use. For highly viscous formulations, it is advisable to verify whether the dropper allows comfortable and smooth application.
The packaging can be used repeatedly provided that strict hygiene rules are followed and always for products that are compatible with the given material. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using suitable disinfectants, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For repeated use, we recommend always using the packaging for a similar type of formulation in order to minimise the risk of residual odours or residues of active substances.
Before repeated use, first remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example oil or water, depending on the type of formulation), then use a mild cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After drying, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface of the bottle and the parts of the dropper, for example using IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %, and allow any alcohol residues to evaporate completely. Make sure that all components are dry and clean before filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend directing it into the recycling stream according to the material specified in the product parameters. In most cases, the glass part of the bottle can be placed in a glass container after removal of product residues and rinsing. The dropper is usually a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), therefore it is advisable to follow the markings in the product parameter table and separate the individual parts according to the recommendation. Before recycling, always remove as much product residue as possible to avoid contamination of the recyclable waste.
