The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution that is particularly suitable for precise dosing of liquids. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the practical dropper, it is ideal for filling products where controlled, drop-by-drop application is important. The dark, opaque glass also provides natural protection of the sensitive contents from light, which contributes to the stability of the composition during storage and use.
The packaging is suitable for cosmetic, aromatherapeutic and laboratory formulations where precise and hygienic application is required. The smooth glass surface allows easy marking, labelling and professional presentation of the finished product.
The individual glass bottle with a standardized neck type is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, according to the selected parameters in the product details. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, which you can find in the respective packaging material categories.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol. In practice, the use of technical isopropyl alcohol or ethanol has proven effective, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the bottle and the dropper to dry thoroughly at room temperature so that moisture does not accumulate in the packaging before filling.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper need to be thoroughly washed, checked for mechanical wear and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the inner surface has completely dried do we recommend refilling the packaging, in order to minimize contamination and maintain the stability of the new formulation.
When selecting a dropper or another closure, it is important to follow the neck type and the recommended combinations stated with the product. In the accessories category you will find components that are marked as compatible with the given bottle. After choosing the recommended combination, always perform your own test – verify the tightness of the closure, the comfort of dosing and the behaviour of the specific recipe in contact with the material used, especially for formulations with a high proportion of oils or alcohol.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it and disposing of any remaining contents in accordance with the nature of the substance used. The glass part of the bottle can usually, after cleaning, be placed in sorted glass waste, while the components of the dropper (plastic, rubber or possibly combined materials) should be separated according to local waste sorting rules. Adapt the specific method of recycling to the material information given in the parameter table with the product and to the local recommendations of the waste collection company.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour and material. Using these parameters, you can easily narrow down the selection to bottles, medicine bottles or jars that best match your recipe and the intended method of dosing.
