Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging for precise dosing of liquid formulations such as oils, serums or concentrated solutions. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from the effects of light, so the packaging is also suitable for products with a higher content of active substances or aromatic extracts. The practical dropper allows comfortable and hygienic application, making the bottle ideal for cosmetic as well as craft formulations where dose control and minimization of contact with the contents are important.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomizers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking tightness, correct dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

The glass bottle is generally suitable for most oil-based and water-based cosmetic formulations and aromatherapeutic blends. For recipes with a very high alcohol content or specific active substances, we recommend making a trial filling in a smaller volume and verifying the product stability as well as the functionality of the dropper during longer-term storage.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol – for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and aired off is the bottle ready to be refilled.
The dropper is designed for precise drop-by-drop dosing. For the most even volume of a single drop, hold the bottle vertically and dispense the contents with gentle pressure. Thicker, oil-based or gel formulations may form larger drops, so we recommend carrying out a dosing test and, if necessary, adjusting the product instructions for use (number of drops, frequency of application, etc.).
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally be placed in the glass container after removing any remaining contents. The dropper and the closure are usually made of a combination of plastic and possibly rubber or metal parts, so it is advisable to take them apart into individual components and sort them according to local waste collection rules.
