The glass jar with cream dispenser represents a professional packaging solution for semi-solid and thicker cosmetic formulations where controlled, hygienic and practical dispensing is required. The combination of durable glass and a functional dispensing system helps protect the contents from air and impurities, thereby contributing to longer stability and quality of the product during use.
This type of jar is popular in the production of skincare cosmetics because it allows convenient application of a smaller amount of product without direct finger contact with the contents. Thanks to this, it is suitable for filling creams, emulsions and other more sensitive formulations that require reliable and aesthetic packaging.
The combination of the glass jar and dispenser is created on Handymade so as to be functional, practical and suitable for common cosmetic formulations. Combinations of packs and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the dispensing system is designed to cope with standard creamy and emulsion textures used in face and body cosmetics. However, for very dense balms or butters, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the smoothness of dosing, the uniformity of the strokes and the return of the spring during repeated use.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the jar and the dispensing mechanism must be cleaned as thoroughly as possible from the residues of the original product, rinsed and subsequently thoroughly disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after complete evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the materials specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the jar, after cleaning, is normally sorted into the glass container. The dispenser and plastic components are usually sorted as plastic waste, unless the product parameters state otherwise. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove as much product residue as possible and separate the individual parts so that they can be processed as efficiently as possible in the recycling process.
You can prevent clogging of the dispenser by choosing a suitable product viscosity and working cleanly during filling. We recommend not overfilling the jar above the recommended level, ensuring that no undissolved particles enter the system, and wiping the outlet nozzle free of cream residues after use. In the case of a longer break in use, it helps to close the dispenser with a protective cap so that the product on the surface does not dry out unnecessarily and reduce the dosing comfort.
The simplest solution is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to quickly narrow down the selection according to parameters. You can filter the packaging by neck type, size, colour and material, which makes it easy to find a jar, bottle, pot or other pack that will best suit your formulation and method of application.
