Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging for precise dosing of cosmetic and technical solutions, serums, tinctures or concentrated blends. High-quality glass in combination with a dropper closure ensures convenient application drop by drop, which is ideal for products where an exact and hygienic dose is important. Thanks to its resistance and stability, this packaging is suitable for filling various liquid formulations, such as oils, serums, extracts or active solutions.
Glass bottles with dropper neck are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators – according to the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging works reliably with your product in real-life conditions.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and prolong the safety of use of your product.
The bottle with dropper is ideal for products where you need dosing drop by drop or in small amounts – for example facial and hair serums, oil elixirs, active concentrates, aromatherapeutic oils or herbal extracts for external use. Thanks to the precise dripping, product waste is reduced and targeted application to the chosen area is made easier.
First, rinse the packaging mechanically with warm water and a suitable mild cleaning agent that is compatible with your products. Then rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inside and surface of the bottle, as well as the dropper including the rubber or plastic part, with alcohol – suitable is for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Before refilling, let the alcohol evaporate completely.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend rinsing it as thoroughly as possible after emptying to remove product residues and then sorting it according to the materials given in the product parameters. Place the glass body of the bottle in the appropriate container for glass, and sort the plastic or rubber parts of the dropper according to their material into waste intended for plastics or into mixed waste if it is not possible to recycle them. By recycling you reduce the amount of waste and contribute to a more sustainable handling of packaging material.
To choose a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging categories. The extended filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category and allows you to filter products according to several parameters, such as neck type, size, colour or material. In this way you can easily find packaging that will match the required volume, design and method of dosing of your specific product.
Before the final market launch of the product, we recommend filling several test pieces and monitoring their behaviour over time. Check whether the packaging seals in different positions, whether there are any changes in the colour, odour or consistency of the product and whether the dropper doses evenly. Also pay attention to any softening, discolouration or wear of the dropping part during long-term contact with your formulation. Such a test will help you verify the practical compatibility and stability of the product under real storage and use conditions.
