The glass bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid preparations. In combination with a ribbed cap with tamper-evident ring, it is ideal for products where protection of the contents against accidental opening and controlled use is important. The dark glass naturally helps protect sensitive formulas from light, which supports their stability during storage. This type of packaging is suitable for small batches, test samples and finished products of both artisan and professional cosmetics.
This standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of caps and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, which make it possible to adapt the dosing method to the specific formulation. The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass vial is suitable for packaging various oil serums, concentrated blends and formulations that are dosed in small amounts. Glass is a stable material that generally tolerates oils, aromatic components and active ingredients well. However, before final use we recommend making a trial batch to verify the long-term stability of your specific formula in this type of packaging.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles and appropriate handling are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After the packaging is completely dry, you can proceed to fill the next batch. In this way you support the microbiological cleanliness and stability of your products.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material information in the product parameters. After emptying and roughly cleaning the glass bottle, place it in the sorted glass collection. The plastic or composite cap usually belongs in the sorted plastics collection, unless otherwise specified in the parameters. By following the recycling recommendations according to the material type, you support an environmentally friendly approach and make subsequent processing of the packaging easier.
The ribbed cap with tamper-evident ring is designed to provide visual control of the first opening and to help prevent unwanted tampering with the contents. It is therefore suitable for products where it is important to clearly see whether the packaging has already been opened. At the same time, it allows for firm tightening, which supports sealing and protects the contents against leakage and external contamination. For specific or sensitive formulations, however, we recommend performing your own long-term storage test.
