The glass bottle represents a reliable and hygienic packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid formulations that require precise and controlled dosing using a dropper. Thanks to the stable glass and the high-quality closure with dropper, this packaging is ideal for products where protection of the contents, easy application, and professional presentation of the final product are important.
This practical dropper medicine bottle is suitable for packaging cosmetic serums, active ingredients, concentrated blends, and aromatic oils. The glass material contributes to the long shelf life of the contents and helps to minimize interactions between the formulation and the packaging, which is particularly important for sensitive components and concentrated extracts.
This packaging is supplied as a functional unit – glass bottle with closure and dropper, which ensures practical and controlled dosing of liquid products. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle, cap, and dropper. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in our range (IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol, Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based). Only after thorough drying is the bottle ready for reuse.
First we recommend mechanical cleaning with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, making sure to disassemble the bottle, cap, and dropper into their individual parts. After rinsing with clean water, follow with disinfection, for example by rinsing or spraying with high-alcohol-content alcohol (e.g. IPA 99% or Ethanol 96% products from our range). After disinfection, allow all components to drip off thoroughly and dry completely at room temperature, and only then refill the bottle.
Before recycling, we recommend emptying the bottle and removing any remaining contents. The glass container should be placed in the glass collection container according to local waste sorting rules. The closure and dropper, which are usually made of plastic and rubber, should be recycled according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local recycling regulations – typically it is necessary to separate the glass part from the plastic-rubber components. If you are in doubt, follow the information given in the product parameter table and the recommendations of your local recycling centre or municipality.
The dropper bottle is particularly suitable for products that require precise drop-by-drop dosing – for example facial and eye serums, concentrated oil blends, intensive active ingredients, aromatherapy oils, or test concentrates. Thanks to the dropper, you have control over the amount of product applied and you minimize both waste and contamination of the contents.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently filter according to several parameters – for example according to neck type, size, colour, or packaging material. Thanks to the combination of these criteria, you can easily choose a bottle, jar, or other packaging that will correspond to the specific product as well as to your production and design requirements.
Before introducing the product to the market, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test. Fill the bottle with a small test sample of your formulation and observe the behaviour of the packaging – sealing of the closure, functionality of the dropper, change in colour or odour of the contents, and any interaction with the material. Perform the test under the storage conditions that you plan to recommend to your customers. Only after successful testing is it appropriate to proceed to filling the entire batch.
