HDPE plastic bottle represents a practical and durable packaging material suitable for filling various liquid and gel formulations. Thanks to its robust construction and the material used, it is ideal for the safe packaging of products where protection of the contents from contamination and reliable closure are important. The packaging is complemented by a child-resistant cap / safety cap, which increases protection during storage, transport and use, especially for concentrated or more sensitive preparations.
This universal plastic container is suitable for small-scale production, artisanal and home manufacture, as well as for professional workshops where repeatable filling and a consistent appearance of products are required. HDPE material is popular in practice for its mechanical resistance, low weight and easy handling during both manual and machine filling.
This plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, which makes it possible to adapt the packaging to the specific product and method of use. According to the chosen parameters, the bottle can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators that facilitate precise and comfortable dosing.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check tightness, dosing method and consistency, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (pH, content of oils, alcohols or other active substances).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if there is no visible damage. However, it is always necessary to observe basic hygiene rules: before each new filling, thoroughly clean the bottle, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, let the inside of the packaging dry completely to prevent unwanted dilution or influence on your product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Since this is an HDPE plastic bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing it is usually classified as plastic waste intended for recycling. Before sorting, check the local waste collection rules and follow the recommendations of your municipality or waste collection company. If there are residues of concentrated or hard-to-remove substances left in the packaging, it is advisable first to minimize the remaining contents and then hand over the packaging in accordance with local regulations for handling such waste.
The HDPE bottle with safety cap is particularly suitable for liquid and gel cosmetic products such as shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps, body and facial cleansing products, hair solutions or auxiliary solutions used in cosmetic manufacturing. The safety closure is practical wherever it is important to reduce the risk of unintentional opening, for example with concentrated solutions, professional preparations or in an environment where children are present. Before specific use, we always recommend testing the compatibility of the packaging with your formula on a small scale.
When choosing a closure or dispenser, it is important to check that the type and neck diameter specified in the product parameters match the parameters of the chosen closure. On Handymade there are already created and tested combinations of packaging and closures designed to be functional and reliable in everyday use. Nevertheless, we always recommend your own test: check the tightness of closure, convenience of dosing and stability of the material in contact with your specific formulation (especially if it contains a higher proportion of oils, alcohol, acids or alkalis). In this way you verify that the closure and bottle work together optimally for your specific product.
