The aluminium bottle with aluminium cap is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling liquid and slightly viscous preparations where protection of the formulation from air and light is important. Thanks to its compact design and reliable screw cap, this bottle is ideal for accurate dosing of smaller quantities of products in cosmetics as well as in artisanal production.
The aluminium container is popular for its durability, low weight and excellent barrier properties against external influences. It enables safe storage of oil-based, water-based and alcohol-based blends and helps to extend the stability of the composition thanks to the limited access of oxygen and light.
This aluminium bottle is supplied directly with an aluminium cap, and the neck design allows you, when selecting other components from the Handymade range, to use various dosing solutions according to the specific formulation. The bottles themselves are compatible with different types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected product parameters.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or oil phase content).

Yes, you can reuse the aluminium bottle if you follow hygienic principles. Before each new filling, the packaging needs to be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation by residues of the previous product.
The aluminium bottle is particularly suitable for smaller doses of cosmetic products such as facial and body oils, serums, hair tonics, intensive treatments or concentrated aromatic blends. Thanks to the reliable closure it is also practical for decanting larger packs into smaller travel-size or test packs, where safe closure and protection of the contents during use and storage are important.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the packaging mechanically with a suitable cleaning medium (for example warm water with a mild cleaning agent intended for contact with cosmetics), rinsing thoroughly with water and allowing it to dry completely. Then the inner space and the thread need to be disinfected with an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and the bottle is dry is it ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in the separate collection of metal packaging according to local waste management rules. Aluminium is among the well recyclable materials, so it is advisable not to throw the packaging into mixed municipal waste. You can always find the recycling symbol and the recommended way of sorting in the parameters of the specific product on the Handymade website, where you can follow the material designation indicated.
