The plastic bottle with screw cap is a universal container suitable for both professional and artisanal packaging of liquid cosmetic preparations. The practical little bottle is designed to ensure reliable closure and clean application when used in cosmetic projects, laboratory blends or small-scale craft production.
Thanks to the proven plastic material, this bottle is suitable for various types of liquids, gels and lighter emulsions. The PET material is lightweight, strong and resistant to normal mechanical stress, which makes it a safe and practical container for home-made as well as smaller professional product batches.
The PET container is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures – when heated, the bottle may deform, therefore dishwashing or boiling is not recommended. However, with proper handling it provides stable and aesthetic packaging for your product.
Warning regarding PET material: do not expose the bottle to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, in order to prevent deformation of the container. Gentle hand cleaning with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent is recommended.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (pH, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, this container can be reused if handled properly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of your products. At the same time, the container must not be exposed to high temperatures, in order to avoid deformation.
First rinse the container with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water and let it dry completely. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface as well as the closure with a suitable alcohol solution (for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based). Do not use high temperatures, do not boil and do not wash in a dishwasher, in order to avoid damaging the PET material.
The lightweight and durable PET material is suitable for transport in luggage as well as for shipping parcels, provided a suitable compatible closure is used and the bottle is properly tightened. Before applying labels or placing the product on the market, we recommend carrying out a leak test, including under different temperature conditions during transport. When shipping, it is advisable to provide additional protection for the container (for example shrink wrap around the closure and void fill inside the parcel).
If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend placing it, after emptying and basic rinsing, into the appropriate recycling stream according to local rules for plastic recycling. PET material is normally collected in containers designated for plastic, and it is advisable to separate the bottle from the cap if the closure is made of a different type of plastic. Always adapt recycling recommendations to the information given in the product parameters and to local regulations governing packaging waste.

The bottle is ideal for aqueous or water–alcohol preparations, light gels and liquid emulsions that do not require high-temperature processing in the container. It is recommended mainly for facial and body toners, hair lotions, light serums, body sprays or aromatic blends in combination with a suitable type of closure or spray pump. For formulations with an atypical composition (high content of solvents, acids or oil components), it is always advisable to test the compatibility of the container with the specific product in advance.
