The combination of dark glass and a high-quality dropper enables comfortable and hygienic packaging of serums, oil blends, concentrates and aromatic products with an emphasis on protecting sensitive components. The packaging is designed to allow controlled dripping and precise dosing, which is ideal for concentrated active ingredients, active serums or aromatherapeutic blends. Thanks to its compact volume, it is also suitable for travel, testers or smaller batches of tailor-made products.
This glass bottle with dropper is designed as a complete packaging solution for precise dripping and convenient application. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, active ingredients or alcohol content).

Yes, the glass pharmaceutical bottle with dropper is suitable for most oil-based and watery serums that are dosed drop by drop. However, before filling we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation – whether the dropper doses smoothly, without clogging, and whether the packaging material remains stable even in long-term contact with active ingredients or alcohol content. In the case of very thick preparations, it may be necessary to choose another type of dispensing.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if the correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, allowed to dry and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol ALK001 or plant-based ethanol ALK002. Only after complete evaporation of the alcohol and drying of the inner surfaces is the packaging ready for new filling. When reusing, always also consider the nature of the product and the required level of hygiene standard.
First remove any residues of the original contents and mechanically rinse the packaging with a suitable medium (for example a vegetable oil for oil-based products or water with a mild cleaning agent for watery formulations). Then thoroughly rinse the inside of the bottle and the dropper with clean water and allow to dry completely. As a final step, we recommend disinfection – treat the inside of the packaging and the parts of the dropper that come into contact with the product with alcohol, for example 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured ethanol. After the alcohol has evaporated and drying is complete, the packaging is ready for new use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle should, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in a container intended for glass. The dropper, which consists of a combination of various materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), generally needs to be separated from the glass and disposed of according to local rules for residual or sorted waste. Before recycling, always remove as much of the original product residues as possible to minimise the load on the recycling process.
