The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control over the amount of product applied is important. High-quality glass combined with a functional dropper enables safe, hygienic and economical packaging of various formulations – from cosmetics to concentrated blends and DIY formulations.
The dark coloration of the glass helps protect sensitive components from light, which is especially important for products containing plant oils, extracts or active ingredients prone to degradation. The packaging is designed to support the stability of the stored contents, minimize air exposure when properly closed and allow comfortable handling during everyday use.
The glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle, allowing it to dry and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. For disinfection you can use for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and supports the stability of your formulations.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, mechanically freed of residues of the previous product and then disinfected using an alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Such a procedure helps maintain the quality of the new fill and reduces the risk of product deterioration.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be disposed of in the container designated for glass once you have removed any remaining contents. The dropper and other components (for example the plastic or rubber part) should be separated and sorted according to the type of material, or placed in mixed waste if the local system does not allow separate collection of the given material.
The dropper is ideal for products where precise drop-by-drop dosing is important – for example facial and body oils, serums with a high concentration of active ingredients, hair tonics, nail care blends or targeted aromatherapeutic preparations. It works best with low to medium viscosity contents; with very thick formulations, dosing may be less smooth.
