The glass bottle with spray pump is a practical, professional-looking packaging suitable for various liquid preparations, especially where fine and even dosing is required. The combination of high-quality glass and a reliable spray pump is ideal for products where control of consumption, hygienic use and clean application to the skin or surface are important.
The dark glass also helps to better protect more sensitive components from the effects of light, which is advantageous for preparations containing oils, extracts or aromatic substances. The bottle is suitable for home-made formulations as well as smaller professional batches where an aesthetic appearance, a functional spray pump and high-quality packaging are important.
This product is a ready-made combination of bottle and spray pump, so it is prepared for immediate filling and use with the recommended type of contents. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of optimal performance with the specific product.

Glass is generally a very stable packaging material that tolerates formulations containing alcohol and essential oils well. However, we always recommend making a trial test batch, monitoring the behaviour of the product over time and also verifying compatibility with the used spray pump (smoothness of spraying, any clogging or changes in sealing during long-term contact with specific ingredients).
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump components must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (ethanol 96 % denatured). After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
Spray pumps are optimised mainly for low-viscosity liquids based on water, alcohol or light hydrolats. Before filling the entire batch, we recommend preparing a smaller test quantity, filling the bottle and testing its behaviour for several days – smoothness of spraying, fineness of the mist, any clogging with more viscous or highly oily blends. If the blend is very viscous or contains solid particles, another type of dispensing may be more suitable.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material information given in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be handed over to a glass container after emptying and basic cleaning. The plastic spray pump (or its individual parts) is placed in plastic waste collection, unless local waste sorting rules stipulate otherwise. Before handing over for collection, it is advisable to remove any product residues from the packaging and close it to prevent leakage of residual substances.
