Glass bottle with glossy dispenser represents an elegant and functional solution for packaging modern cosmetic formulations that require controlled dosing. Thanks to the glass used, the packaging is stable, resistant to common cosmetic ingredients and suitable for liquid and slightly viscous products where precision and cleanliness of application are important.
Darker tinted glass naturally helps to reduce light penetration to more sensitive formulations, thereby contributing to better stability of colorants, fragrances and active substances during storage. The glossy dispenser gives the packaging a premium look and at the same time ensures comfortable and hygienic use during everyday application.
Such glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the offer. They can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the final packaging to the specific product and method of application.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – particularly in terms of sealing, dosing smoothness and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation throughout the entire intended period of use.

The glass bottle is generally very suitable for oil-based and emulsion cosmetic formulations, because glass is a stable and inert material towards most common ingredients. For formulations with a high content of active substances we recommend carrying out your own stability test – checking the behaviour of the product in the packaging over several weeks, both under normal storage conditions and at a slightly elevated temperature.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable product, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Only after complete drying and airing of the disinfectant is the packaging ready for refilling, and for each new product type we recommend performing a compatibility test with the packaging and the dispenser.
First remove any residue of the original product, rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution and warm water, if necessary with a mild non-aggressive detergent. After thorough rinsing, it is appropriate to use an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cosmetic manufacturing. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry completely and air it for as long as necessary until any residual alcohol odour disappears. Only then is the bottle ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while the plastic or metal components of the dispenser should be separated before disposal and placed into the appropriate recycling stream according to local rules. Before recycling, always check the material specification in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website and follow the local waste separation system in your municipality or city.
