The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations, where hygienic application and control of the quantity are important. Thanks to the combination of glass and a dropper, the packaging is ideal for packing delicate cosmetic and technical solutions that require gradual drop-by-drop dosing. The dark glass at the same time helps to limit light access to the contents, which contributes to maintaining the stability of sensitive components.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example, screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially of sealing, dosing smoothness and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

The glass bottle with dropper is primarily intended for low- to medium-viscosity liquids, such as facial oils, serums, aromatherapeutic blends or liquid active substances. With thicker oils, dosing may be slower, therefore we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formula in the bottle and, if necessary, adjusting the viscosity or the method of dosing.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle and the dropper, letting them dry completely and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution (for example, products available on Handymade: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after the alcohol has fully evaporated is the packaging ready for a new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the dropper may contain a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal) and should be disposed of as mixed waste, unless otherwise stated in the product parameters. Before recycling, we recommend rinsing the bottle to remove product residues.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is also suitable for smaller test batches and product samples, especially if you need to precisely monitor dosing or the method of application. The packaging is practical for internal laboratory testing of formulations, mini editions, gift packaging or promo samples, while looking professional and representative.
