Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for packaging various active cosmetic serums, oil-based and water-based solutions, where precise drop-by-drop application is required. The dark glass helps protect more sensitive components from light, which supports the stability of the formulation. Before actual filling we recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formula with the packaging.
Before filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected. We recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in cosmetic grade. On the website you will find the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are practical for disinfecting packaging before filling. For disinfection you can also use the products IPA 99 isopropyl alcohol 1 l and Ethanol 96 denatured plant-based 1 l.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and the packaging is not mechanically damaged. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, its condition checked and then disinfected, for example using IPA 99 isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. We recommend repeated use only for products for which it is hygienically and technologically appropriate to reuse the same container.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend cleaning it from product residues and then sorting it correctly. The glass part of the bottle can, after removal of any remaining contents, be placed in the appropriate glass container according to local sorting rules. Plastic and any rubber or silicone parts of the dropper should be separated and disposed of in the container intended for that type of plastic waste, in line with the recommendations resulting from the material composition listed in the product parameters. In this way you support responsible and sustainable handling of packaging.
