Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and take into account the nature of the filled formulation. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dispensing part and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic solution. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured, which you can find on the pages /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After thorough drying, the bottle can be safely refilled.

Plastic packaging made of PET-type material is not intended for contact with hot or very warm liquids. Exposure to high temperatures may lead to deformation of the bottle walls, deterioration of the dispenser’s tightness and changes in the mechanical properties of the material. For this reason, it is not recommended to boil the bottle, sterilise it in boiling water or wash it in a dishwasher. Fill it only after the mixture has cooled down to a safe, lukewarm to room temperature.

Before re-use, it is advisable to disassemble the bottle into individual parts (body, pump, possible tube), thoroughly rinse out the remains of the original product and wash them with a suitable cleaning agent at an appropriate water temperature. We then recommend disinfecting the internal surfaces and the parts that come into contact with the product with alcohol, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol available on the pages /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After complete evaporation of the alcohol and drying, the packaging is ready for a new filling.

If you decide not to re-use the packaging, we recommend classifying it into sorted waste according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The PET plastic bottle body is usually placed in the container for plastic waste, while the pump may contain a combination of different plastics and possibly metals. If local sorting rules allow, it is advisable to separate the bottle body from the dispensing part. Before handing it over for recycling, empty the packaging, remove any product residues and follow the recommendations of the local waste collection system as well as the information in the parameter table on the product page.
