The transparent plastic bottle with a silver closure is a practical packaging solution for cosmetic as well as technical liquid formulations, allowing reliable dosing and an easy overview of the remaining amount of product. Thanks to the transparent material, it is suitable for filling various solutions, gels, and hair and body care cosmetics where control of the appearance and purity of the contents is important. The durable plastic material supports safe handling, easy storage, and transport.
This plastic bottle is designed to be combined with compatible closures and dosing components according to the selected product parameters. The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps, or practical applicators), depending on the specific design and intended use. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify the long‑term stability of the product and the tightness of the connection during handling and transport.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product specifications.
Since this is a plastic material of the PET type, specific conditions of use must be observed. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because excessive heating may lead to deformation of the packaging or a reduction in its mechanical stability. This type of packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, we recommend gentle hand‑washing with lukewarm water and an appropriate cleaning agent, avoiding contact with excessively hot water and intense thermal shock.
Yes, the packaging can be reused, provided the type of use is appropriate and the material quality is maintained. It is always important, however, to follow basic hygiene principles – before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using suitable alcohol‑based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which are available in the Handymade range. After cleaning, allow the packaging to dry completely in order to minimize the risk of contamination of the new product.
Before refilling, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with lukewarm water and an appropriate cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly, and removing all residues of the original contents. The packaging must then be disinfected – for this purpose you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Spread the disinfectant over the inner surface, optionally allow it to act briefly, and then let the packaging dry completely at room temperature. Avoid boiling or dishwashing, since PET material is not intended for high temperatures.
A bottle made of PET material is not intended for filling with hot products or for long‑term exposure to high temperatures. Elevated temperature may lead to gradual or sudden deformation of the packaging and a reduction in its strength, which can affect the stability and tightness of the closure. When handling, we therefore recommend working with products only after they have cooled down to room temperature and not storing the bottle on heat sources, in direct sunlight behind glass, or in overheated spaces, for example in a closed car during summer.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in the selective waste collection system according to the material designation stated in the product specifications. PET plastic material is usually sorted into containers intended for plastics. Before placing it in selective waste collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle, optionally rinse out any product residues, and separate the closure if it is made from a different type of material. By following local waste‑sorting rules, you support effective recycling and the reduction of plastic waste.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category. The advanced filter allows detailed sorting according to several parameters – for example according to the type and diameter of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour variant, or the material used. This enables you to specifically choose bottles, vials, jars, or pots that will best match the consistency, dosing method, and visual style of your product.
The most reliable approach is to check the neck parameters and the recommended combinations directly on the product page. Combinations of containers and closures created on Handymade are tested for mechanical compatibility, but for each new formulation we recommend performing your own test. Fill the bottle with a small amount of product, close it carefully, and observe whether there is any leakage, deformation of the packaging, or fouling of the dispensing mechanism. In this way you can verify that the chosen combination is also suitable for long‑term use with your specific product.
