The bottle can be used repeatedly, provided you follow basic hygiene rules and assess the suitability of the material for the specific type of filling. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted changes in the fragrance or texture of the product.

Before changing the type of filling or in the case of repeated filling, it is advisable to disassemble the packaging (unscrew the sprayer), rinse the bottle with warm water and a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. We then recommend applying disinfection using an alcohol-based solution (ALK001 or ALK002) and allowing the packaging to dry completely. It is advisable to “spray through” the spray mechanism several times with clean water or disinfectant solution in order to remove residues of the previous filling.

This type of plastic packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Exposure to high temperatures can lead to deformation of the material, deterioration of sealing or of the sprayer functionality. We therefore recommend gentle hand washing in moderately warm water and disinfection with an alcohol solution, without using extreme temperatures.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it and removing any remaining filling, then, according to the material designation in the product parameters, placing it in the appropriate container for sorted waste. The bottle and sprayer may be made of different plastic components, so it is advisable to separate them where possible (unscrew the sprayer head) and follow local recycling rules and the symbols indicated with the product. In this way you contribute to responsible handling of packaging material.

This packaging is best suited for low-viscosity liquid preparations that need to be applied as a fine spray. These are mainly facial and body toners, hydrolats, floral waters, hair sprays, air or textile fresheners and auxiliary solutions for household and hobby use. For thicker emulsions or oils with higher viscosity, we recommend first testing the dosing to ensure smooth operation of the sprayer.
