The transparent plastic bottle with a matte white cap is a universal packaging component suitable for cosmetic as well as technical formulations where clean presentation of the contents and easy dosing are important. The transparent container allows visual control of the fill level, consistency and colour of the product, which you will appreciate when producing smaller editions as well as in serial production. FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be used repeatedly provided you follow basic hygiene principles and do not detect any visible damage to the packaging or the closure. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the inner surface of the packaging and the closure to dry completely so that your formulation is not adversely affected. With every repeated use we also recommend checking the functionality of the thread and the tightness of the closure.

How should I clean this plastic bottle and what are the temperature limitations?

When cleaning the packaging, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent that is compatible with your products. PET‑type and similar plastic materials should not be exposed to high temperatures, because excessive heating carries the risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the closure’s tightness. Do not use the bottle for boiling, do not sterilise it in boiling water and do not wash it in a dishwasher, where it may be subjected to higher temperatures and more aggressive cleaning cycles. After washing, we recommend allowing the packaging to dry naturally at room temperature and only then proceeding to disinfection with alcohol.

How do I fill the bottle correctly so that there is no leakage or contamination of the contents?

Before filling, check that the bottle is clean, dry and disinfected and also prepare a closure or dispensing component treated in the same way. Fill at an appropriate speed and avoid overfilling so that sufficient space remains below the neck for safe closing. After closing, gently invert the bottle or leave it briefly in a horizontal position to check tightness. For new formulations we recommend performing trial filling of a small number of units and monitoring the behaviour of the packaging during normal handling as well as during transport. For highly fluid or foaming products it may be necessary to adjust the filling speed or the choice of a suitable pump or sprayer.

How should I recycle this plastic packaging correctly if I do not wish to continue using it?

If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the parameter table for the product, where you will find the type of material used and the corresponding recycling mark. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the packaging as much as possible and, if necessary, rinse out product residues in order to minimise the burden during processing. The closure and any dispensing components may be made of a different material from the body of the bottle, so it is advisable to separate them before recycling and sort them separately according to local rules. Always follow the recommendations of the separate collection system in your municipality so that the packaging is correctly classified and can be reprocessed.
