For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol available on the page IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely and only then refill the packaging.

Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing it with drinking water and then, if needed, disinfecting it with alcohol (for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). The dispenser should be rinsed with a small amount of alcohol or demineralised water so that it passes through the entire mechanism. After cleaning, let all components dry completely at room temperature and only then proceed to filling.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the parameter table at the product. The glass part can generally be placed, after removing product residues and separating the plastic components (dispenser, possible dip tube or cap), in the collection container for glass. Sort the plastic parts according to the type of material specified in the parameters (for example as mixed plastic, PP, etc.), or hand them over at a collection point. Before recycling, we recommend emptying and rinsing the packaging as much as possible in order to minimise cosmetic residues in the waste stream.
