The bottle with dispenser is designed to handle common cream and emulsion formulations intended for face and body care. Before final implementation, we recommend testing the dosing with the actual formulation you plan to use and verifying whether the pump dispenses the product sufficiently and smoothly. For very rich balms or butters, a jar or another type of packaging may be more appropriate.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is important to carefully clean the bottle and the dispensing mechanism and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based product (for example products available in the Handymade range, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). We recommend using products intended for the disinfection of packaging, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and letting the surfaces dry completely after application before refilling. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and premature spoilage of the product.

First remove the residues of the original product from the packaging by mechanically rinsing it and, depending on the type of formulation, also by gently washing it with a suitable cleaning agent. Then let the packaging dry thoroughly. After drying, it is appropriate to apply a disinfecting alcohol-based product – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Apply the alcohol to the inside and the surface of the packaging, ensure contact with the surfaces and let it evaporate completely before filling. The dispensing mechanism should also be rinsed and disinfected in the same way, while verifying that it remains functional and tight after drying.

If you do not want to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the recycling symbol indicated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself. Before placing it in the appropriate sorting container, remove any product residues and, if possible, separate the individual parts (bottle body, pump and any cap), which may be made of different materials. Such sorting makes processing in the recycling system easier and contributes to more efficient recovery of plastics. The instructions for proper sorting of plastic packaging may differ slightly depending on the local waste collection system, so it is advisable to also follow the recommendations of your municipality or city.
