Glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with dispenser for creams is a professional packaging suitable for dispensing various creamy and emulsion formulations. The matte glass helps to stabilise more sensitive components by reducing the penetration of light to the product, which is advantageous for formulations containing oils, active ingredients and natural extracts. The bottle is designed to allow precise and hygienic dispensing without unnecessary contact of the contents with air and the skin of the hands.
This packaging is supplied as a functional combination of glass bottle and dispenser, which is designed for comfortable and precise application of creamy products. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – especially from the point of view of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, type of oil or water phase, content of active ingredients).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging is designed for dispensing creamy and emulsion preparations with the usual viscosity of face and body creams. For very thick balms we recommend carrying out a trial filling and observing whether the dispenser ensures smooth and even extrusion without clogging. If necessary, the formulation can be slightly adjusted (for example by adding a small water or oil phase) so that it corresponds better to the dispensing type.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging from dust, rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent and, after thorough drying, disinfecting it. For disinfection in home and professional production the use of alcohol-based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, has proved effective. In the Handymade range you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After applying the disinfectant, allow the surface to dry completely in order to minimise the transfer of moisture into the finished product.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. After the contents have been used up, we recommend thoroughly disassembling the bottle and all parts of the dispenser, mechanically cleaning and rinsing them. Afterwards, the packaging must always be cleaned and disinfected before refilling, ideally using alcohol-based preparations such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. With repeated use, monitor whether the dispenser still seals and doses correctly, and in case of mechanical wear or visible damage, consider replacing it.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle should, after rinsing out product residues, be placed in a container intended for glass. Plastic or metal parts of the dispenser are sorted according to the type of material used, which you will find in the technical parameters and in the Packaging quality certificate. Before placing in sorted waste collection, remove product residues so that the packaging is not heavily soiled. By recycling you save raw materials and reduce the amount of waste from packaging materials.
To choose a suitable packaging you can use the extended filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers). In the extended filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – in particular the type and neck diameter, overall size, colour and material of the packaging. Thanks to this you will quickly find packaging that is compatible with specific closures or dispensers and at the same time meets your design and functional requirements.
When filling, it is advisable to use clean tools (e.g. spatulas, funnels) in order to minimise direct contact of the skin with the product and with the inner surface of the packaging. Fill the cream into a completely dry and disinfected packaging, trying to leave sufficient space under the neck for the correct function of the dispenser. Store the finished products in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and large temperature fluctuations, in order to maintain the stability of the formulation and the integrity of the packaging. For every new formulation we recommend testing the behaviour of the cream in the packaging over several days (e.g. changes in viscosity, colour or fragrance).
