The frosted black glass bottle with dropper represents professional packaging material for manufacturers of cosmetics, serums and concentrated blends. Both thicker and more fluid formulations receive reliable protection and convenient drop-by-drop dosing in it. The opaque dark glass naturally helps protect sensitive components from external influences during storage and use.
The packaging is particularly suitable for precise, economical and hygienic dosing of smaller amounts of product, with the dropper making application easier without unnecessary contact with the remaining contents of the bottle. The matte surface creates a premium impression and at the same time reduces the visibility of fingerprints, which you will appreciate when professionally presenting the finished product.
The standalone glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators – always according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of long-term stability and trouble-free use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass packaging is generally very stable and suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils, perfume compositions or active substances. The dark glass also helps limit the effect of light on sensitive components. Nevertheless, we always recommend performing your own stability test – fill a smaller amount of product, monitor any changes in colour, scent or viscosity and also verify the functionality of the dropper during long-term use.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable agent. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the range as the products IPA 99 % and plant-based ethanol 96 %: /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely so that no residual moisture remains in the packaging before the new filling.
We recommend storing filled bottles well closed, in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Stable room conditions without significant temperature fluctuations support maintaining the quality of the contents as well as the sealing elements in the dropper. For products with a higher content of volatile substances or essential oils, avoid storing them near strongly aromatic preparations to prevent unwanted influence on the scent.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations and the information given in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, into the container intended for glass. The dropper consists of several parts (glass, plastic, rubber) – where possible, these should be separated and sorted into the appropriate collection containers according to the material composition, as indicated by the recycling symbols listed with the product.
To make it easier to choose packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently select parameters such as neck type and size, overall packaging size, colour or material. By combining these criteria, you quickly narrow down the offer to the packaging that best matches your specific formulation and dosing method.
