The glass bottle made of high-quality matte brown glass represents a reliable packaging solution for both professional and artisan filling of cosmetics and concentrated blends. The dark glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light, thereby contributing to the stability of the product during storage and use. Thanks to the precise finish of the neck, the bottle is suitable for packaging liquid, oily and lightly viscous preparations, where clean dispensing and secure closure are important.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for oil serums, vegetable oils, aromatherapeutic and perfume blends, as well as other concentrated liquid formulations. The stable glass material helps minimize interactions with the contents, and the matte brown glass supports the protection of light-sensitive components during storage. When choosing a suitable closure or dropper, we recommend verifying the dosing accuracy on a small test batch.
The bottle can be reused provided that proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbial contamination and to avoid the fragrance or colour of the new product being affected by residues of the previous fill. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in cosmetic grade, which you can find on Handymade as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let the bottle dry completely before refilling it.
When filling, we recommend labelling each packaging with a label stating the product name, composition, filling date and, if applicable, batch number so that you have an overview of origin and shelf life. Always store the bottles tightly closed, in a dry place, at stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Such conditions help preserve the stability of the contents and the properties of the glass, which is particularly important for concentrated oils and active substances.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend disposing of it via separated collection in accordance with the recommendations given in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Glass packaging is usually placed in the container designated for glass; before that, empty the bottle and remove any product residues. Sort plastic or metal components of the closure according to the material indicated in the technical parameters of the packaging. By following these principles, you support responsible recycling and the repeated use of raw materials.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging material category. In the filter you can easily set parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to those bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that meet the requirements of your specific product, whether it is intended for cosmetics, aromatherapy or laboratory use.
