Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent or hot water depending on the type of product) and then disinfecting it. To disinfect the inner surface and the dropper, it is appropriate to use alcohol solutions, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow the packaging to drain thoroughly and dry, and only then fill it with the final product.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, residues of the original contents removed and then disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This reduces the risk of contamination of the new product and supports its stability during use.
Before recycling, we recommend emptying the contents as much as possible and basically cleaning the packaging. The glass part of the bottle is sorted into the container intended for glass according to local waste-sorting rules. The dropper consists of several materials (glass, plastic, rubber), so it is appropriate to check the material composition in the product parameters and sort the individual parts according to the type of material, if the local system allows it. If recycling is not possible for the individual components, the dropper is usually placed in mixed waste. In case of doubt, follow the recommendations of your waste collection company.
The glass bottle with dropper is suitable for smaller volumes of concentrated products that you need to keep with you, for example a facial serum or oil. When carrying it, we recommend always closing the packaging carefully, checking that the dropper is properly seated and placing the bottle in a firm cosmetic bag or case so that it is protected from impacts.
