FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this glass bottle suitable for thicker oils and serums?

The bottle with dropper is intended primarily for liquid and medium-viscosity products such as light oils, fluid serums or watery solutions. With very thick oils, dosing may be slower, so we always recommend performing a test with a small amount of your formulation and checking whether the dripping speed corresponds to the intended use.

Can the bottle be reused for other products?

The glass packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for reuse.

How should the dropper be cleaned properly to keep it functional?

We recommend disassembling the dropper into separate parts (glass pipette, rubber or plastic part and, if applicable, collar) and first mechanically cleaning it from product residues. Then rinse the components with a suitable cleaning solution, rinse with clean water and finally disinfect with an alcoholic solution. Before reassembly, allow all parts to dry thoroughly so that the product is not diluted by residual water.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the bottle if I no longer want to use it?

Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any remaining contents. The glass body of the bottle is normally placed in the container designated for glass in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. The closure and the dropper are made of separate materials (plastic, rubber and possibly metal) that must be separated and sorted according to the instructions of your collection system. If you do not decide to reuse the packaging, recycling it is the most environmentally friendly solution.
