Yes, the glass medicine bottle with pipette is suitable for oil serums, active concentrates and highly concentrated blends where precise drop-by-drop dosing is important. Glass is a stable packaging material that, under normal cosmetic use, minimizes interaction with the contents and, together with the dark matt finish, helps protect photosensitive components from degradation. Before final implementation, we always recommend testing the specific formulation in the selected packaging.
The pipette is designed for dosing liquid and oily products with low to medium viscosity. For thicker oils or gel textures, we recommend performing a trial filling and dosing to check whether the dripping proceeds smoothly and without clogging. If the product is too viscous, another type of packaging, such as a pump dispenser or a bottle with an applicator, may be more suitable.
The packaging can be reused provided proper hygiene practices are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the pipette must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and ventilated is the bottle ready for further use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its recycling according to the material types stated in the product parameters. After thorough emptying and, if necessary, rinsing, place the glass part of the bottle into the appropriate glass container according to the local waste-sorting system. Sort the closure, pipette and any plastic components according to the material specified in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. By separating the individual parts according to material, you support efficient recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
