Glass bottle – matte dropper pharmacy bottle represents a professional packaging intended for precise dosing of liquid preparations such as oils, serums or concentrated solutions. Thanks to the high-quality matte glass and dropper closure, it is suitable for filling products that require gentle storage, controlled dosing and practical use in both home and professional cosmetics.
The dark matte glass supports better protection of the contents from light, thereby contributing to maintaining the stability and properties of more sensitive components. The dropper enables convenient and hygienic application without unnecessary contact with a larger volume of product, which is ideal for concentrated formulations and active ingredients.
The stand-alone glass pharmacy bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators). Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass pharmacy bottle is, in terms of material, suitable for most cosmetic formulations containing essential oils, since glass is stable towards them. With every new product, however, we recommend carrying out your own trial test – verify the behaviour of the formulation in contact with the packaging and the dropper closure over time (colour, fragrance, consistency) and check the sealing during longer-term storage.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. When changing the type of product (e.g. from oil-based to water-based), we recommend especially thorough cleaning, including the dropper.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass bottle in the container intended for glass. The closure with dropper (which may contain plastic and rubber parts) should be sorted according to local rules for separation of plastics and mixed waste. Before handing it over for recycling, remove any product residues so that the material can be processed efficiently.
Before the first filling, we recommend visually checking the bottle to ensure that it is not damaged and, if necessary, rinsing it with clean water or a suitable cleaning solution. Then let it dry completely and, before the actual filling, disinfect the inner space and the neck, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. It is also advisable to disinfect the contact surfaces of the dropper and closure and to work in the cleanest environment possible.
To select a suitable bottle, pharmacy bottle or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can more easily choose parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. By combining these filters, you quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that best matches the intended use and design of your product.
The matte glass surface is visually attractive and in most cases works well with self-adhesive labels. Before serial labelling, we recommend carrying out a short test with the selected type of adhesive and label material – verify adhesion, the possibility of any repositioning and behaviour during longer-term storage. During manual filling and labelling, make sure that the container surface is dry and clean, free of grease or product residues.
