Glass bottle – matte dropper bottle with ribbed cap and tamper-evident ring is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of concentrates, serums, tinctures and other more sensitive preparations. High-quality glass combined with a sealing closure helps protect the contents from external influences, aroma loss and undesirable contamination, making the bottle ideal for both liquid and slightly viscous formulations.
The matte finish of the glass reduces light penetration and helps limit the effect of UV radiation on the contents of the bottle, which is advantageous for products sensitive to oxidation and degradation of active ingredients. The ribbed cap with tamper-evident ring ensures easy gripping, secure closing and first-opening control, which is practical for both professional and artisanal filling of smaller serums, concentrates and oil blends.
The glass dropper bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is suitable for most cosmetic formulations containing essential oils or perfume compositions, as glass is a stable and durable packaging material. Before final use with a specific formula, however, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially with high concentrations of essential oils or with unusual solvents – to verify closure sealing, behaviour of the contents and long-term stability.
The bottle is suitable for repeated use when hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbial contamination or undesirable reactions with residues of the original product. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol-based preparations, for example IPA or ethanol: IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After washing and disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly before refilling it.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material type indicated in the product parameter table. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass part of the bottle should be disposed of in the container designated for glass. The plastic closure usually needs to be separated into the container for plastics, unless the product parameters specify a different sorting method. Before discarding, always remove product residues to facilitate the recycling process and reduce environmental impact.
The ribbed cap with tamper-evident ring provides first-opening control, which is practical for products intended for sale as well as for professional use. The tamper-evident band makes it possible to check whether the bottle has been opened after the first filling, and the ribbing on the closure makes handling easier even with small volumes. Nevertheless, we always recommend verifying sealing performance and opening method for the specific product type so that the closure meets your requirements for safety and user comfort.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can easily narrow down the offer according to key parameters such as type and neck diameter, size, colour or packaging material. In this way you will quickly find dropper bottles, vials, jars or containers that best match your formula and the desired dosing method.
